4000 seriesWifi smart deadbolt

I bought this lock in December 2025, actually the last week of December at that! Installed the lock and it was great…until I could not keep the 8 batteries running. No matter what brand or type they died in 2 weeks! Philips customer service was super helpful and once I sent proof of purchase they shipped a whole new lock. Also a 4000 series but needs 4 batteries and a WiFi bridge (included). I installed the new lock in May of 2026 and blissfully went about using my door….fast forward to 5 days ago (depending on how you found Aug 1 or July 31 2026)…I did an update…the bridge no longer connected…no issue just reset it right? WRONG! It will not connect to the Philips server if I scan the QR code on the bridge. If I use Bluetooth with no WiFi the app sees it. But it tells me the network is abnormal and offers to send feedback if I let it submit an error report…haven’t gotten feedback. I have paused the 5ghz band on my router, reset the router, reset the modem, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. NOTHING WORKS! Oh not to mention I also tried unbinding the lock and now when I add it back on Bluetooth I can’t create more than one pin. I say this lock is NOT RECOMMENDED and would AVOID Philips unless they fix the app IMMEDIATELY
