5 step adjustable grinder
Enjoy both coffee and espresso from your favorite whole beans in a single, compact machine thanks to Saeco's new dual pressure lever. Simply turn the dual pressure lever to one side to brew a filter coffee with low water pressure. Or move the lever to the other side and prepare a real Italian espresso with 15 bar water pressure.
When it comes to the fineness of the grind, this machine never fails to satisfy. Different coffee blends require different levels of granularity for the full flavor to unfold. So the grind granularity of this machine has five adjustable settings - from the finest grind for a full-bodied espresso, to the coarsest for a lighter coffee.
Efficiency and ease of use were key inspirations when Saeco invented the first brewing group 30 years ago. And to this day, it still proves to be an inspired, resolute piece of technology. As always, it’s so simple to clean – just remove it and wash it under the tap for a few seconds, then re-insert it just as easily.

Great espresso maker
Ready to use right out of the box. Easy to understand cleaning instructions. Quieter than my old one too.

This product makes me think the designers of this product may not drink coffee
Although very intuitive to use I found the over all experience lacking. Both the large and medium coffee settings do not make a strong enough coffee (I use fresh locally roasted beans). I have resorted to brewing coffee using the espresso setting for 2 shots and then the coffee setting for one to get a cup that doesn't taste watered down. I find the steamer is high maintenance since the milk runs through it as opposed to inserting a steamer arm into a milk cup, you must take the time to clean every use not just wipe down the nozzle between steams and clean at end of day. Another issue is that it does not fit all sizes of togo cups (mine are the contigo you get in two packs at costco). I would just use shorter togos but most of them do not fit in my cars cup holder. I am happy I have it over a drip coffee maker, but over all expected more for the money. I would still recommend the company but not this exact product.
