Saeco TaleaSuper-automatic espresso machine

Had this machine for over 8 years, and just hit the 10,000 product counter making espresso's, coffee, and long coffees. Just regular maintenance of scaling and cleaning.

I make lattes at last twice a day. It's easy to use and makes great lattes. I have owned several and this one is the best one yet.

the Espresso is wonderful and the ability to also produce a variety of sizes and strengths makes it the best for any household and for company. I look forward to ordering the Milk Island to make Cappuccinos for myself and guests as well. Thank for bringing this wonderful machine into my life.

An overall good machine. Operation is most simple and straightforward. It's a lot quieter than my last unit. Warm up time is fast and switching between brewing and steaming is only a few seconds. There are many options available from the touch screen menu, such as water temperature, amount of beans & water per cup, rinsing & cleaning & descaling cycles, pre-brewing, lots more. The coffee itself is fairly good, but not great. The upside is you get a consistent cup every brew. Steaming / frothing is pretty simple but the steam wand is very limited in it's ability to move positions. Also, the water tank seems to need refilling rather quickly. I was rather concerned when the frothing unit totally died on the 3rd day I had the machine. Saeco handled the problem like a charm, paying for shipping both ways and getting my unit back to me within a week. It now works without a glitch and I'm a happy camper!

I purchased this item after using another brand for years. The machine is not easy to use and it stops you at almost every cup. My machine had a leak around week two, although prior the coffee favor was below average for a machine of this caliber. I have resorted to fixing the machine and shelving it, I went back to my old machine and am enjoying it. I will try a built-in brand in my new home and hope for success....btw, I am a heavy coffee drinker(8 to 12 cups a day).
