Philips AventAnti-colic nipple

These are great nipples. Perfect flow for my 8 month old.

I recieved this product from weespring parent panel and I'm so glad I did! We had reached the point with my son that he's becoming less interested in a bottle and more in solids. At 10 months he still needs a healthy dose of milk so we need something that would speed up the flow of his milk and make it less work to get what he wanted. These avent medium flow nipples worked great! We were using 1 other brand and 1 other avent bottle that used slower flows and I had no idea it would make such a difference to increase it. He seemed to really like the easier flow and had no issues transitioning to a new nipple. We're lucky that he hasn't had much of an issue with gas but maybe we can contribute that to these bottles/ nipples in the first place. Having another option to use when we know he's hungry and less patient is a great tool to have! I would highly recommend these especially for older babies that need a little more with a little less delay.

As part of a WeeSpring Parent panel, I was able to use the Philips Avent Anti-colic baby bottle with medium flow nipples. We have been using Avent bottles since day 1 and occasionally sprinkling in another brand here and there. What was so unique about the Avent bottles with the anti-colic nipple is that it's only 1 piece!!! The air magically sneaks around the nipple and not into my kid! It was so easy to clean and assemble, I don't know that I'd use anything else in the future! I did notice a difference in how gassy baby was so that was also a HUGE BONUS!!! All-in-all, I highly recommend these nipples!!

I had the opportunity to try this product through the weespring parent panel. I had my first baby 10 months ago and fell in love with philips avent bottles! The plastic case which was securely sealed, came with four medium flow nipples and the bottle came with one insert for air flow. The bottle is large enough to hold 9 ounces of milk which is very nice now that my little one requires more milk per feeding. The nice thing about the insert piece is that it is super easy and simple to clean compared to other bottles that come with (what seems like) thirteen different parts to it, requiring different brushes to clean. This insert can be washed with the same size bottle brush that you would use for the bottle base itself. The one con to this insert, I found during feedings where my baby would hold the bottle on her own. She would grab the bottle at different times where the insert was not positioned properly per the instructions allowing for maximum ventilation. The ideal position of the insert is at the bottle of the bottle when in use. I could easily remedy this by rotating the bottle while she held but if left on her own, she would not of known how. My child has always seemed to prefer more narrow bottle nipples but I do believe it is important to have a variety of nipples to avoid confusion. My little one took to the anti-collic medium flow nipple perfectly! I love that this nipple has more surface area to it (as a natural breast would have) compared to other more narrow kinds of bottle nipples. I did notice that after using the medium flow nipple, my little one would have less burps and hiccups compared to before. After a little longer usage I notice my child also had little to no spit up compared to before using this product. I appreciate that the nipple is BPA free! We ended up loving this system so much that we can’t wait to purchase more!

Having a baby with gas issues isn’t the best feeling as a new parent. I prided myself as the parent who read all the books and was prepared for anything thrown my way. Watching my son moan & shriek due to passing gas was hard to watch. As we stressed on the best way to feed our son, we decided that having a number of nipple options would serve the little one well. What I didn’t know was how well the Philips Avent Anti-colic baby bottle MEDIUM FLOW would work for my baby. He instantly took to the nipple and I noticed that noise that he would usually make dissipated. Come to find out, my lovebug was sucking in air which contributed to his gas issues. As time went on I did notice that my cutie pie started to prefer the the medium flow nipple over the other flow rates. With is age of 7 months and the issues he was previously having I can honestly share that my child is having much better feeds. I’ve even supplied his daycare with the bottles as I want to keep up the same feeding pattern that we’ve implemented at home. This is now one of my favorite baby products and I can’t say enough thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this Nipple.

I've received this product through wee sprint parent panel and I am so glad I did! This nipple has prevented my son from waking up in the middle of night because of colic issues. It gives just the right amount of flow and I am so happy and grateful I received this product!

I love the Philips Avent anti-colic bottle with airfree vent 9oz. Talk about peace of mind this bottle gives moms! The airfree vent does its job and ensures that my little one is not taking in air while drinking. You can see the air bubbles leaving the nipple through the airfree vent. Seeing those bubbles leave is like waving goodbye to a fussy colic baby. Winner in my book. My baby enjoyed the flow rate stage 3 nipple. With the many different styles and flow rates, I knew I would find the right nipple to ensure my little one will latch successfully. The nipples are a little larger than its competitors which allows for a larger to see nipple flow number. No more squinting to find the nipple flow number. Thank you for weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with the nipple and bottle. We will continue using this bottle.

I have a 5 month old baby boy that is half breast half bottle fed. I have been using a different bottle brand with a medium flow nipple when I prepare bottles. I had not seen the Philips Avent Anti-colic baby bottle until I received the product through the weespring Parent Panel in exchange for my review. My baby was not excited to use the bottle, but he never really is when I give him bottles. I found out that the Philips Avent Anti-colic baby bottle is what my mother in law uses when she watches my son. She says that he does really well on the slow flow nipple. We tried the medium flow nipple and it was a little fast for him. He would take a sip and choke a little before trying again. It is nice to have options of different flow levels, when he is a little older we will likely try the medium flow again. I think that these nipples/bottles help with the gas and colic. My baby seems calmer and happier. He isn't tooting or spitting up as much.

We received the Philips Avent Anti-colic baby bottle Medium Flow through the WeeSpring Parent Panel to test. Previous we were using Avent Natural bottles for my 10month old because that is what I used for my first baby (now 2yo). I love the anti colic bottle and nipple and although she doesn't have problems with colic or gas, I will most likely switch to these bottles for the next baby to eliminate any problems early on. I had never used anti colic bottles before because I always heard they were a nightmare to clean with a ton of tiny parts. These Avent bottles only have 4, the bottle, nipple, ring, and the piece to prevent air. The parts are not tiny and I washed them in the dishwasher without a problem. Hand washing would be just as easy as a regular bottle because the additional piece is large. My daughter loved being able to sit straight up while drinking so that she could watch everything going on around her. Also, she really liked this flow of nipple. I've tried medium flow nipples on our regular bottles and it seems to be too much for her even at this age to comfortable drink. With the Anti colic nipples she seemed better able to control the flow. My only con with these is that they do not fit with our Avent system that we've already purchased, so in order to switch to this bottle we would have to buy everything new.

I received this product as part of the WeeSpring Parent Panel but all opinions are my own. My son was due for a transition from the newborn nipple so being able to seamlessly move to the Philips Avent anti-colic medium flow nipple with the Philips bottle was simple! My son took to the faster flow easily and he is able to now eat much more efficiently. He is four months and was BF as well as bottle fed and had no issues taking to this new nipple.
