Saeco MoltioSuper-automatic espresso machine

The best thing I've ever spent money on, a wonderful coffee maker, simple and easy to use, and makes the best coffee. It's so nice when you buy a quality thing that brings you pleasure every day for 6 years!

We purchased our machine over 5 years ago (December 2015) and it is in daily use with 6-10 grinds per day. We descale, lubricate, and clean it regularly and in a timely fashion, per the maintenance instructions; and run the milk cleaning fluid through the carafe at least once per month. The machine delivers a consistent coffee whether espresso, cafe crema, or cappucino/latte. I've read the other reviews and had similar experience with messiness or beans blocking the bean hopper locking mechanism, etc. But I find these to be minor annoyances, and don't happen often if the machine is cleaned and maintained per the manufacturer's directions. The one complaint I would make is that one of the tabs that holds the milk frother in place broke, and the replacement parts are difficult to find and expensive. The result is a less than positive lock on the milk frother "wand" which means keeping an eye on it when milk is dispensed. We've thought of replacing / upgrading the machine, given its age and frequent use. But in researching other Saeco machines, have found the essential mechanisms in the newer machines are the same. So, we'll keep this one until it crashes since it doesn't seem to be showing signs of degradation.

For decades my wife was the only coffee drinker at home. She likes coffee so much that I decided to buy her a Seaco Moltio (fully automatic) five years ago. My only regret is to not have bought it years before. I have been enjoying daily espresso since then. Phillips has outstanding customer service. I strongly recommend this appliance.

One thing I find with this unit. When it has to be cleaned and it's difficult to know what to do with it the instructions do not seem to be very clear to us. the push buttons on the front of the machine are great but very difficult to read unless you have the lights on bright. with time and when I get used to it I will enjoy it immensely. We owned a coffee maker for quite a while now and this is a new one for us and it seems to be quite more advanced and a great product.

Easy cleaning, Easy programming...Very good coffee

I've had this machine for over one year, I use it daily and performs week and quietly. The espresso it produces is good and very consistent. The made downside to this machine is how messy it is, every week I clean the inside compartment out and it always see s to defy belief how messy it is. I wouldn't buy it again.

I got an error 15, there’s no way to troubleshoot, it must be repaired, took excellent care of the machine, cleaning and de-scalling it
