Philips AventComfort breast shell set

I was so happy to find these. My mother used something similar and raved about how she never pumped. She produced so much that she would just use "these cups" to collect. The hospital gave me a competitors brand but they had many holes. I would bend over and leak milk everywhere. I was so fed up with constantly being drenched. When I found these at a local retailer I was thrilled, I was almost ready to give up BFing. I wear these all day and collect the many ounces I leak. I just collect, wash out as they fill, and continue using. I have a large supply of milk frozen and have no need to pump!

The shells worked very well during that first 4 weeks while establishing my milk flow for our new baby.

Pros: protects sore nipples from everyday activities. Cheaper than using breastpads, just rinse them out and use again. They don't stick to nipples like breast pads. Cons: They don't come in a bigger size

They collect the milk. Doesn't hold alot of milk the structure of it is poor because of how they attach the milk leaks through the seems and the nipple whole is a bit big. I suggest Phillips improve this product . As a mom I don't like to see my milk leaking through my shirt these are suppose to be milk savers not milk leakers.

I tried using this product after being fed up with sore nipples, but it does not work with big breasts at all.

I bought this to capture leaking milk while breast feeding, and no matter how I positioned the shell the milk would not pour into the cup, and instead leak down into my bra. The shell is too deep to fit my nipple and just makes a mess. Very disappointed in this product.

Don't waste your money. These have never collected any milk. I've tried both sides, different bras, all bras tightened and loosened to different degrees. Nothing. Horrible product.
