Rated 1 out of 5 by Carrie123 Broken before opening!
I bought a new pink one while my sister bought a blue one. First thing I noticed was that the buzz on my toothbrush was way louder than my sister and it didn't have the quadpace feature. I chatted to Philips about it right away and they told me that the pink one in this series is the only colour that doesn't have the quadpacer feature - who would have thought ???!! They said they would replace it because of the loud buzz if I send in my proof of receipt and I did it right away. I even followed up but no response! Be really careful when purchasing !!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Louizee Very poor quality. Does not clean no where near as good as the Essence
I have been using the Essence Sonicare for 20 years so has my Family. I purchassed the Sonicare 2 plaque control a couple of months ago and what a noticeable difference! This model is extremely flimsy, light weight and does NOT deliver the wonderful, vibrational, sonic waves that my Essence provided. Absolute garbage compared to the Essence. It does not deliver a thorough cleaning. Very disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by leeda A good and decent toothbrush
I have received this Sonic Plaque Control Toothbrush for free for my honest opinion. This toothbrush is a basic and decent model. It has some positive and negative features. On the plus side this toothbrush is easy to grasp and is gentle yet thorough in its ability to clean my teeth. My mouth feels very fresh and clean like I just came from the dentist office and had a cleaning. However there were also a few negative aspects such as the loud noise(motor)that is present while I am brushing my teeth. In addition the toothbrush head is a bit small and I always have to make sure I do not overload it with toothpaste. All in all I like the Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KristinS Super Clean Feeling
After being in the dental field for over 10 years, I have tried my fair share of toothbrushes, both manual and electronic. This one far exceeded my expectations. I love the small, thin design of this model which makes gripping the toothbrush much easier for small hands like myself. I also love that while the vibration of the toothbrush is powerful enough to get the job done, it isn't uncomfortable like many i have used in the past. I like the feature of the rubber on the bottom and handle of the toothbrush that makes gripping and placing on the counter without slipping and falling easier. Overall, this toothbrush is basic, but thorough. It gives you exactly what you need, plaque removal and a overall clean that you can't achieve with a manual toothbrush.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MattP1540 Great toothbrush -wish it came with a travel case
The reviews are all spot on. Great toothbrush, cleans teeth beautifully and timer is just the right level of "tech" I want from a tooth brush.
I just wish it came with a travel case. I purchased this while on the road so I have to hope it doesn't get too beat up or turns on accidentally in my toiletries bag. A case should be included with any premium toothbrush.

This toothbrush has really improved the feeling of clean that you get after brushing. Far better than a manual brush and much better than my previous electric toothbrush.

Rated 5 out of 5 by K10MA Just got back from the Dentist...
I received this toothbrush for Christmas and I have used it twice a day for 2 months. I had a cleaning scheduled for today and I didn't mention to the hygienist that I had switched from manual to electric. I wanted to see if she noticed a difference. Usually cleanings for me mean scraping and lots of gum bleeding. This time, the hygienist didn't have much to do and commented that I had great hygiene. The dentist came in to look and said "beautiful teeth and gums!" Only then did I mention to them that I had switched to a Sonicare. They were beyond pleased and said that it makes a huge difference, but their patients are usually put off by the initial investment and the cost of the replacement heads. I don't know about you, but I want my teeth to last a lifetime. The small investment now in a Phillips Sonicare toothbrush could mean far less pricey dental procedures in my future and a greater chance that I will retain all of my teeth for the rest of my life. I'm sold.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CookingMama So stinkin' loud but works okay
I bought this Sonicare to replace another/different model that stopped charging after about 4 years or so. I saw this pink model, it was cute & a decent price, so I bought it ... but it is SO loud and vibrates SO much - much more than my last model. I like Sonicare brushes very much - I get great dental checkups now - but I don't recommend this model.
Also, the directions say it is fully charged when the green light stops flashing. I think I could have my brush in the charger for 2 days & the light never stops flashing. I also think this one doesn't hold a charge as long as my last one.
