Has netflix and vudu. Great picture and great sound. Like the additional digital channels.
Remote is sensitive on changing channels sometimes. Otherwise good product.

My Philips 49" 7900 series Ultra HD television is incredibly fantastic. Quality of the picture and sound system is absolutely superior. I would highly recommend this Ultra television to everyone I know. In addition to it's superior performance, the price is lower than most all other competing brands. I have two other High Definition TVs, so I have grown used to high definition television for several years. But Ultra is quite an amazing advancement in picture quality. If you enjoy television, these new Ultra TVs are gonna amaze you. Well worth the investment.

This t.v. has amazing picture and is crisp and clear. But if you like to play video games, i would not recommend this tv. It has a late response and gets very frustrating. Doesnt matter if you put the picture on "game" it still lags. Otherwise this tv is great for movies, videos, etc.

This tv is good but hard to setup. When it is setup mine is bad to get my dvd blu ray going it want use HMD2 you have to have the jacks for the unit. That was ok the pic finial come on but the sound never worked. And the Blu Ray is a Philips Blu Ray and it not that old of one.

Let's begin with the positive the design of the display is slick. The brushed metal and almost bezel free design are fantastic. This display is one of the thinnest I have seen in recent years (outside of OLED). The audio quality for display this thin was impressive as well very clear with enough low end to add some punch.
Where the Philips fails is the picture quality and motion performance. If you are gamer steer clear of this display. While I don't own a lag measuring tool it input lag is enough that I instantly feel it with every movement. FPS games require exact movement and precision aiming to succeed. The input lag was such that with every minor adjustment of the camera movement would suddenly feel erratic. The Philips employs a 60hz IPS panel which offers great viewing angles, but substantial blur and poor contrast ratio. The result is an image that feels flat and lifeless. Images while upscaler to 4K seems hazy and slightly blurry compared to other 4K displays I have seen.
I had high hopes for this display, but the issues are far to many.
