What is 'Calling Line Identifier' (CLI)?

    Published on 2017-02-28

Calling Line Identifier (CLI) is an option provided by most telecommunication service providers. This option allows your phone to display the number and/or name (caller ID) of the caller who calls you.

    General information

In most cases, a small monthly fee is needed for CLI/Caller ID subscription.

If the handset(s) and base station are of different models, CLI may not work correctly.
