What is WPS and what are the requirements to use it?

Published on 2017-02-28

WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) allows you to add devices securely to your secured wireless network without memorizing and entering an encrypted passkey (WEP/WPA/WPA2).

Usually there are 2 methods of connecting the router using WPS. One will be the Push Button Configuration method and the other will be the PIN Entry Method.

A WPS-enabled router is the basic requirement for this feature.

The current version of firmware does support this WPS feature.

The information on this page applies to the following models: NP2500/37 , NP2900/37 .
