How to connect cable box using (RF) coaxial cable jack in Philips TV?

    Published on 2016-12-29
    1. Unplug the TV and cable box before you make any connection

    2. Connect the open end of the round coaxial cable [1] to the cable input connector on the back of the cable box

    3. Use another round coaxial cable [2], connect one end to the cable output connector on the back of the cable box and the other end to the [Cable/Antenna] connector on the back of the TV

    4. If the cable connector is threaded, screw it on finger tight

    5. Turn on the cable box, if applicable, set the output channel to CH3 or 4

    6. Turn on the TV and tune to the same channel as the cable box

    7. Change the channels at the cable box to view the programs

Note: If your cable box is equipped with a direct AV output, it is recommended to connect the cable box to the television using the AV connection in order to produce better picture quality.
