Your Philips OneBlade blade is equipped with a wear indicator that helps you determine when it's time to replace the blade.
As you use your OneBlade, a triangular replacement symbol will gradually become visible on the blade (see image below). When the symbol is clearly visible, Philips recommends replacing the blade to maintain optimal shaving and trimming performance.
Depending on the blade version, the wear indicator may appear as an arrow symbol or as a green wear indicator on the blade. Both serve the same purpose: letting you know that it's time to consider a replacement blade.
For best results, Philips recommends replacing your OneBlade blade approximately every 4 months, although the exact lifespan depends on your grooming routine and usage. If the wear indicator is visible but the blade is still performing well, there’s no need to replace it.
