Bought this product with reservation, since I'm a Dyson fan. Almost all my products are Dyson. However, my son took my Dyson when he got his new place of his own. After searching for a purifier, I came across this Philips and saw the reviews. Got this for myself. Amazingly accurate, when my environment is not good. Another feature is the app for you to know if everything is well and functional.

This is the best air purifier I have brought thus far. We have several different brands in the house. We choose Philips for our mother lung problems. It has monitor the air quality with efficiently. Less than a month the machine icon lit up notifying us to clean the filter. The sleep mode is fantastic our mom is able to sleep with the unit on at night. The color ring is a great feature, its simplistic , our mom is able to know when the unit is working and cleaning the air in her bedroom. She loves it. It is definitely worth the price and investment.

I was lucky enough to receive a free sample of this air purifier and it was a great addition to my house. I have allergies and asthma and I noticed that I generally felt less congested and the air in my house seemed cleaner. I think it's a great addition to any household.

I received this air purifier in exchange for my honest review. First of all, it's easy to assemble and the design is really sleek. It is so quiet that you don't know that it's running. I love that is has an automatic sensor and will adjust when it detects allergens/odors. The display is easy to read. We placed this in our living room and I feel like it effectively purifies the air. The air filters need to be replaced periodically and I would prefer it to be a permanent air filter. Otherwise, this is a great product and I recommend it.

I have 2 long hair cats. I received a free sample of this air purifier at the same time I was doing research on purchasing a new one. I have small tower units and they just were not doing an effective job. In fact it seemed the cat hair was more noticeable. I have placed this unit in my bedroom and the air quality has improved. I like the features confirming this. It is portable enough to move into other rooms when needed. My condo does not allow stoves with hooded vents & fans. I move the air purifier into the kitchen and it swiftly takes care of cooking smells also. I have friends and family with allergies to dust and cat dander. Without quite knowing why they seem to be less affected when in my home.

I received this Philips air purifier as a free sample to review and I was quite impressed with the technology. I did not expect it to be as large as a carry on suitcase but since it was so quiet operating, I soon forgot it was even the room. It has a double filtration system that you can clean easily. The front of the machine has a lighted section that changes color with the air quality, blue being the best. The controls were quite easy to figure out with the instructions supplied. I had it up and running in less than 10 minutes. Within 30 minutes, the indicator on the unit was blue, despite our 2 dogs that hang out in the same room. It has been operating continuously now for several weeks without a single problem. Any of the dog smells that were there before have gone. I definitely would recommend this product.

I was given a Philips air purifier in exchange for my honest review and was very pleased with the product. I put it in our bedroom because my husband suffers from severe allergies. It was easy to set up and after turning it on, it started to sense the air quality and made adjustments accordingly. After using it for about 2 weeks, it was time to clean one of the filters which was super easy and after drying (about 3 hours) was ready to use again. The unit is very quiet and user friendly. We have construction work going on in and around our house and the machine reacts when dust is circulating through our bedroom. I am guessing that my husbands allergies will also be better as a result.

I received a free sample of the Philips Air Purifier to review but I am always on the lookout for ways to improve the air quality in my house. I have a daughter with asthma, this time of year is usually very difficult for her. We also have yet to have a good freeze so I feel that that my allergies are still an issue right now, later in the season than normal. Add in the fact that we have a 110 pound dog that sheds I feel that we could always use some extra help, especially where our air quality is concerned. I decided to place it in the loft area outside our bedrooms where our dog also sleeps at night, I think it's perfect for this area. The unit itself is very easy to use, easy to read and looks nice in the room. I am pretty confident we have stayed healthy these past few weeks with the addition of this unit to our house. My daughter hasn't touched an inhaler, my allergies are well controlled and I have to say that the smell that can happen in a carpeted room where a dog sleeps seems to be controlled as well. I keep a clean house but will take any help I can get! Great product, would definitely recommend!

Note: I received a free sample for providing an open and honest review of the product. The Philips AC2885 is aesthetically pleasing and definitely fits with most decor. So, it would blend right in in most households no matter the location. It is a little on the large side, so room size is something to consider when purchasing. The assembly instructions and steps were very easy to understand and execute which will make it easy to clean and maintain going forward. I liked all the options available on the unit (allergen mode, bacteria & virus mode, auto mode, etc.). The fan noise is limited and what little there is quickly becomes ambient in the normal hustle and bustle of a household. The operational buttons are easy to use and understand. I left my unit in allergen mode since I suffer from year round allergies and have an indoor dog. It seems to work well. After almost 1 month of usage, so far so good!!!

I participated in a review panel and received this Air Purifier free as my product to use in exchange for an online review. One of my children and I suffer from allergies and I have seen a noticeable difference in the amount of allergy effects that have diminished as we have used this purifier for several weeks. We left it on 24/7, on the allergy setting. I love that the purifier is quiet when the air is at a 'good' level. You definitely know when it is working because you can suddenly hear the machine running. My favorite feature is that the purifier changes it's 'purification' as the air changes in the house. For example, we used a deep fryer one day and the purifier automatically detected the lowered quality of air, switched to the highest setting, and progressively filtered the air. Coming out of the box, there was minimal set up. I would definitely recommend this purifier to others.
