Had two toothbrushes that stopped working. When I called customer service, the experience was just amazing. The representative was very friendly. In 2 weeks I got the replacement.

I like the On/Off button separate from Mode selection

I don’t understand! The brush is Bluetooth connected but when I turn on my toothbrush, the application doesn’t open by itself.

I’ve use Sonicare products for over 5 years. Since I started my hygienist has been very impressed with how clean and plaque-free my teeth are. Note: I did not use the app function since I do not use apps. Sounds good as a learning tool though. The change of charger to a glass is great. My biggest problem with all other models was how icky the charger got. Constant cleaning of the base is required and it still looks grungy after a while. The clear glass can be washed regularly to keep it sparkling clean. I like the visual signal for “too much pressure” more than the physical because there is a lot of vibration going on and I don’t always feel/hear the signal. The brush head chip will automatically select the proper mode to use. Overall I love this toothbrush. The change of charger and travel case is well thought out.

I tried the water pix system with their tooth brushes. I did the rotary tooth brushes so I thought what the heck, I may as well give the Philips sonic care brush a try. All I can think is, man I wish I had one of these when I was a child. There is so much in this brush because of it's great design. The important thing is I am a heavy coffee drinker and smoker. So yes although I am lucky and my teeth are still white, I do have issues with keeping them that way. The other brushes were ok and at the time I thought they did a good job but..........spitting out the tooth paste after using the sonic care I noticed it was yellow. After my shock I realized this brush is definitely doing a much better job. It's the little things that make the big difference. The other powered brushes I tried were shorter and that had toothpaste sliding down the brush. This one is longer and the actual brush head is better suited for fitting in my mouth so there is no more tooth paste sliding down the unit as I am brushing my teeth. Along with a better sizing you have different strengths of movement on the brush head that is easily changed by pressing the mode button as you brush. That with the added pause every 30 seconds lets you know you are doing a good job and to move on to the next section. It takes a bit of getting used to because of the tickling sensation in some areas but it's well worth it. If you are one of those that just can't get away from your phone, bring it along. Philips has an app that tracks where you have brushed, how long, even the pressure, etc. It lets you know what brush head you have attached to the handle and adjusts the brush settings for that brush, such as the whiter teeth brush or the general clean brush or the tongue brush and so on. The unit looks good. The battery lasts me over 2 weeks with 2 brushings a day. My mouth and gums feel great after brushing. It even seems like I am using less tooth paste. If that isn't enough I have an app that keeps me on track. All in all the Philips sonic care brush is a win win situation. It's worth the money and your mouth deserves it.

Toothbrush is great. Love the different brushes and settings because it's not one brush for everything. The App is great for helping to focus on brushing. It does fail to detect its location sometimes which is disappointing. It would also be bice if you could add time to certain zones. The gum program is my favorite, but I wish i could add the front teeth to the second round as well. The app is supposed to track brush use and let you subscribe to automatically get new brushes. Function does not work at all. When i tey and turn it on nothing happens and it doesn't work. A company as large as Philips should be able to hire a competent app programmer.

It was time to replace my old sonicare, and this one was recommended.
