Shaver series 5000 PowerTouchDry electric shaver

I have been using Phillips electric shavers since I started growing facial hair. They have always done great for me. I had an older model from 2008 and I needed an upgrade. I went to Walmart and found this model. Which seems to have been released in 2011. I purchased it in 2015 or 2016. Either way it has been doing me very well. I always get a clean shave right down to a smooth face! It never lets me down. A full charge on this shaver can last a month or more of shaving! I love the cordless design as I am able to move freely and get those hard to reach spots. I most likely will always stick with Phillips face shavers as they do the job and for a great price :)

This razor has been great so far. I bought it because I was less than happy with a more expensive Phillips 7000 series which wasn't shaving very closely and I missed the built-in pop-up trimmer I had had on previous Phillips shavers. This model 5000 was less money, has a great working trimmer and gives a closer shave. It includes a snap-on cover over the blades. The 7000 didn't have that, although the 7000 had a nice storage case. The razor will go a month or more on one full charge with daily use and is quiet and convenient to use.

Quick fast reliable shave. Gets a lot of stubble my old shaver missed.

This is by far one of the most fantastic shaver products I've ever bought from Philips. I would certainly recommend it to anyone that is in the market for a new shaver.

Great shave! Best shaver I have ever owned. Makes my stubble just disappear.

Not as good as the previous lift and cut model that I had. Does not shave as close and as a result is much slower.

The replacement head symbol does not show show even after new heads installed only the tap shows to clean not happy even after talking to customer service,

August 19, 2019 I am very disappointed with this product (Series 5000 PT860/20). I have used Philips razors for a very, very long time and was always satisfied. I still have and use, while travelling, a small Philips razor with only two heads. It is still better than my new model, and I have never changed the heads. This new model does not cut well, it seems to turn too slowly compared to my older models. Philips changed the unit and lately even gave me a new head but to no avail. I am so disappointed that I started to use throw away blades until I decided to try the new One Blade……..Review to come.
