As usual, Philips makes a great product. I have used this model for years and have been impressed with the longevity of the product and ease of use. Excellent for doing haircuts.

This is, by far, the best trimmer I have ever purchased.........except for one little problem. The functional crux of the trimmer also happens to be it's most susceptible feature to failure, that is the adjustable plastic length guide. I read through all of the customer reviews of the product before purchasing and this was a highlighted concern of many, but an on-line coupon brought the purchase price down considerably, so I went ahead with the purchase. After using and falling in love with the unit, I decided to look into how much it would cost to replace the adjustable plastic guide. After jumping through the typical corporate hoops, I found out replacing the least expensive "part" of the trimmer would cost more than I paid for the entire product. A great trimmer indeed! But the common strategy of engineering a product where the most integral part of the whole is the most expensive to replace, is sadly at play here.

VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT.MANY CUT OPTIONS, HOLDS A CHARGE FOR A LONG TIME AND MAKES A NICE CLEAN CUT. VERY EASY TO ADJUST THE LENGTH OF TRIM AND FITS THE HAND NICELY. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
