Video/image is shifted on my Philips player's screen

Check whether the video / photo itself is shifted: Disconnect the Apple device from the product. Check the video / photo on the screen of the Apple device.

Videos downloaded from some websites suffer shifting. The reason is that the video does not fully meet the video specification of Apple AV connector. Therefore the video would appear shifted on the screen.
