Text displayed on my Philips player is not clear

You can solve this problem by following the below steps:

1. Press the SETUP key on the remote control.
2. Use the arrow keys on your remote control to select Video –> TV Standard.
3. Set the NTSC as the standard.

The text display will become clear.
