I got this thing 3days ago and it is everything I wanted. I took a month to pick out a 32" and went back and forth but this one just came out and after reviewing the specs, I pulled the trigger and bought. Brilliant colors, no shadowing. This resolution is the perfect compromise between 4k and 2k. This big of a monitor this resolution level with text is amazing.(2560*1440) And no glare. I don't use the amblglow being unless you're gaming or watching a movie at night, I don't see the need, but it is cool. The only thing I don't like is the stand. It is sturdy and strong but it spreads out pretty far and outside of tilt, isn't adjustable. But I didn't plan on moving my monitor height so it is fine. The stand is sturdy though and looks expensive and not monitor like so the display looks quasi-monitor TV like. Actually more futuristic looking that old school pedal-stool base. Great product. Great quality and looks top end. You will be happy with this!

Great performance, color and value.
Very nice monitor. I have an aging computer system that had a 1080p 24" monitor. I was shocked at the huge jump in quality, color and performance this new monitor provided. I really thought it would just be bigger. The realism on this thing is fantastic. Resolution isn't everything. I think that the auto color and contrast control, improved black levels and motion control, plus the lag reduction feature of this monitor make it way better than most 4k monitors currently on the market without these features. The price is less than half a 4k monitor at this size too! The ambiglow is about the coolest thing I have seen and I love that it lights my desktop up a bit when the lights are out! Thanks Philips for improving my quality of life!
The bad however is the documentation is not great. Some features it explains great, others It tells you what a feature is but does not really explain it, and others no info at all like the lag feature. Also Philips what audio port out comes on this device? I dare you to look at the pictures, website or manual to find out. It isn't there! This is a big consideration for many buying monitors today as we use the audio over HDMI/Display Port then back out to the speakers. The control software that you download (manual said it was on included cd, there is no cd included) to control the monitor setting without having to do it through the OSD, crashes when run. My machine is a very stable/vanilla Windows 10 64 bit setup. So no, it's not my machine that's the problem and yes I disable the usual suspects such as antivirus and firewall and installed the monitor driver and rebooted. It still crashes every time. I am using the display port and driving it with a 5 year old Radeon HD7950. This being a brand new monitor, and the software having just been released too, I have hope they will get it sorted.
