I had the privilege of being chosen by Stellar Panel Testing Panel to test the Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser 1000. I have wanted a water flosser for a long time and our hygienest recommended getting one but I was never sure it was as good as traditional flossing so I stuck with regular floss. After trying this flosser I now wish I had purchased one years ago! The size is perfect for my hand and it is lightweight, and easy to use and get used to using! It comes with two nozzles. A comfort nozzle and a standard nozzle. The instructions are concise and easy to understand. The first few times I used it I followed the instructions to make sure I didn't forget anything but that was all it took. It is so easy to use. The instructions recommend the lowest setting for few weeks to get used to the intensity but I did not find it too intense at all and moved to the higher setting quickly and that is what I use it on all the time now. The pacer that tells you when to move to another part of your mouth can be turned off but I found it helpful to make sure you are getting even cleaning in all areas. Some of my suggestions are, definitely buy one! You will love it! Spray it into the sink before your mouth so you can see how far and strong it squirts. When you use it it takes maybe a couple tries to get used to keeping your lips closed enough so it doesn't get water squirting out of your mouth. Personally that didn't happen to me. The first time I used it was not messy at all. I had my husband try it and the whole sink and mirror were wet. He watched me do my own and after that one time no more mess at all. Filling the water port is simple and that one fill lasts through one whole flossing session for me. After the first time I used it I could feel my teeth felt smoother and cleaner. Since then, my gums also feel cleaner. As more time goes by they are even better. The battery lasts a long time. I have not had to charge it yet in the time I have been testing it. I will never go back to traditional flossing! I like to floss now! It was never one of my favorite things to do before. So overall I have to say this is a FIVE star product. Everything about it makes it great for home use or to take on the go. I have already told so many people they have to get one. You won't be disappointed and your mouth will thank you!

I have only had to charge this flosser once so far even with twice daily use which makes it so easy to incorporate into my daily dental hygiene routine. Using regular plastic floss, my teeth felts scummy despite twice daily brushing and flossing. The Flosser had made a big difference in how clean my teeth feel after only a few days. The replacement heads come in a two-pack, identical to the heads (sensitive and regular) that came with the original flosser. They fit the machine well and are easy to swap out. I worked up from sensitive to regular pressure within 2-3 days. I love the timer that does a pulse/pause every 15 seconds to let you know to move on to the next quadrant of your mouth. My challenges were learning how to maneuver the Flosser to the correct angle for the inside of my teeth and that it does not include a power block (only a cord that you needs a USB-A block for).

I've been using this compact flosser every night after brushing my teeth for about a week now, and I love it! Previously, I typically flossed at least 4-5 times a week, but since I started using this water flosser, I have made it a nightly routine after brushing my teeth. It comes with both a standard nozzle and comfort nozzle, but I've primarily been using the standard nozzle as I don't have very sensitive gums and feel as though it has given a deeper clean. I feel like it leaves between my teeth and gums feeling almost as clean as after a dental cleaning, which I didn't always get with normal flossing. With it being a compact, wireless water flosser, I wasn't sure how the water pressure would be, but it exceeded my expectations. I also especially like the fact that it takes up barely any space on my bathroom counter and I can easily travel with it, if I'd like. The only thing that took me a couple days to get used to was the awkwardness of how to hold the flosser while using it, especially when cleaning my back teeth. However, once I got used to it, it wasn't much of an issue. I have yet to have to re-charge it with daily use over a week, which has been nice. I'll be curious to see how long the battery will last on one charge! Overall, I would definitely recommend this water flosser!

I’m so thankful that my first experience was with the Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser 1000. When I received the box I was happy to see that the flosser is indeed compact and doesn’t take up a lot of space in my bathroom counter. I read made sure to read the manual since I had no prior experience with water flossers. The manual was easy to read and setup was a breeze. The flosser comes with a power cord for charging but no power adapter. It was nice that the flosser came charged so I didn’t have to wait to use it. The flosser comes with 2 nozzles and states to replace them after 6 months so essentially you’re covered for the whole year which is very cost effective. The flosser has an easy to fill reservoir that holds a good amount of water. I have to fill it twice for each complete floss but I don’t mind because it’s easy and allows for the device to be compact. The manual said to start with sensitive mode for beginners which I did. There is also a pulse and a clean mode. The modes provide a decent amount of pressure that felt comparable to treatment at a dental office. I was skeptical of a water flosser being able to truly remove any food residue or plaque but to my surprise it did just that in under a minute. My teeth feel smooth and clean each time I use it and I feel like my gums are healthier. Disposable flossers and nylon floss can sometimes leave food particles behind but not with the Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser. Water flossing can be a little messy and it did take me a few tries to get a good routine down but it was worth it and I feel like the Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser provides the perfect tool to achieve a clean, healthy mouth.

I have challenges with my teeth, specifically “soft spots” and sometimes I feel like I just can’t get stuff out with regular floss. I have sprayed my wall a couple times but it gets easier the more you use the flosser. It really knocks every lose and my teeth and gums feel cleaner without feeling sore (like digging with floss can do). I really love this little compact Flosser, and I recommend it to anyone who may struggle with that clean mouth feel, or someone who has sensitive or recessed gum lines (like me!!) And again, the small footprint is a game changer for me. My counter is small and packed and I love how little room the flosser takes up. I have never used a water flosser before and have generally avoided flossing even with traditional floss because my teeth are so tight together and my gums bleed very easily. Although my husband uses a water flosser I never wanted to try his because it was so bulky, loud and hard to fill. When I was given the opportunity to try out the Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser 1000 with the Stellar Product Testing Panel I jumped on it for one main reason- it claimed to be compact. After several weeks of use I feel like I can properly review this for the skeptic or the curious. It truly is compact and even when left on my counter to dry it doesn't take up a lot of space. I found that one of the tips can slide into the water filling hole for easy travel so I am even happy to take it in my camper and keep up great oral health while in the woods! I went from flossing once a month just so I wouldn't have to tell my dentist I didn't floss at all to nightly flossing and still haven't had to recharge the battery. I love that I could start with a more gentle settings and alternate flosser head provided. I felt confident to spend enough time in each area of my mouth with the convenient pulse change to indicate time to move on. At first I didn't think it was enough time but now that I am more comfortable with the product it seems to be the right amount of time. I have never had my gums bleed with this product and I feel like I have fresher breath in the mornings after using the Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser 1000 before bed. I highly recommend the Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser 1000 and will be getting one for my husband as well.

I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel for my honest review. I honestly hate flossing but this product was really easy and kind of fun to use. Overall it’s compact and easy to use. I would say it takes some time to get use to it. It has three different pressure settings and it did take time to work up to the higher settings. I do notice that my teeth feel very clean after using, but I have not followed up with my dentist to know if it really has had a long term impact on my gum health. It is about the size of my electric toothbrush so easy to travel with if needed. It is easy to fill and clean. Also the battery life is great! Ive been using it everyday for 4 weeks now and it’s still going strong. Honestly I prefer this to regular floss. It’s easier and it leaves my mouth feeling so much better.
