Simple no fuss
A few weeks back I was sent this epilator to review. I was a little nervous with memories of the rotating spring style torture devices of the 80s running through my brain.
This was a pleasant surprise in that there was very little pain (it is pulling your hair out so the occasional ouchy cannot be avoided). Also I have psoriasis, there is a warning concerning consulting a doctor if you have that or eczema, I didn`t; just dove right in. With my skin condition, even as mild as my case is, shaving is next to impossible this was actually the best hair removal method I have ever used solely in terms of it not irritating my skin or causing horror movie levels of bloodshed.
The only detractor for me is that it takes several passes to remove the hair.

Not worth the price
I purchased this machine and have used it all over my body. The instructions and website make it seem like an easy product to use, but the only thing that works is the shaver and trimmer head. The epilator breaks 50% of the hairs and pulls 50% out by the root. Even when using it against hair growth and pulling skin tight. I have tried trimming hairs to the reccomeneded length and get the same results. I've grown hairs longer and still the same, just a lot more painful. I have also tried using it wet and dry. It makes no difference. On top of the breakage, the two guards provided for sensitive areas (like your face and bikini) don't even stay on the machine. As soon as you press the epilating head to your skin the guard pops off. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone who is looking for an epilator, it's not worth it.

A Should Have Product!
First of all, I just wanted to mention that I had received this Epilator as a sample to use for 10 days and review. The sampled Epilator I got came with a few different attachments and to be specifically used on a different area on your body. The first time I used this Epilator, I initially intended to use it Wet during the shower. Although the manual said you could use the Epilator with or without soap or shaving gel, I preferred without and didn`t like the result. I found that when the hair on my legs wet, it was more difficult for the Epilator to work as it was supposed to - it just glided on without pulling any hairs. The second attempt was using it Dry in which I liked much better. The result I got from using the Epilator Dry was definitely impressive; it glided on my legs smoothly without skipping any hairs and left my legs nice and smooth. The same result happened with under the arms area, I never thought I could have a better result with a regular razor. However, when it came to using the Epilator on my upper lip, the manual suggested to put a included facial cap on for more precise epilating result, I didn`t find that true at all. After epilating, there was still visible hair left on my upper lip,in which I had to use the regular razor to clean it. Overall, I liked this Philips Advanced Wet & Dry Epilator - Bre630 well enough that I would continue using it instead of a regular razor which would be used only for an upper lip area. I should also mention that within the 10 days, I epilated only twice which was less often compared to before when I used a regular razor.

Don't buy it
It's the worst epilator I've ever had. It removes hair well only on very soft parts of body making almost impossible to clean up legs. Horrile product, completely useless.

This product is cordless A+
I received this item for free in exchange for my honest opinion.
This epilator is very pretty and I was really excited when I finally was able to use it. However, I was very disappointed in the performance of the item. The epilator did not pull all my armpit hair and I had to finish with a regular razor. I also was very eager to try the precision attachment for my upper lip, sadly I am very disappointed for several reasons:
1. The white attachment won't stay put on the epilator head because of the vibration and the movement up and down the white piece comes off.
2. Once I was able to leave the precision attachment on the epilator head I noticed that the piece sits too elevated from the tweezers making it almost impossible to pull hairs.
3. I had to go over the same area multiple times to be able to have the desired results.
1. I loved that the epilator is cordless and rechargeable, this is a bid plus.
2. The design is very elegant and the long handle makes the process easier not just for the legs but the underarms.
3. The little brush to clean it and the bag is travel-friendly or just easier to storage in a drawer.
4.The fact that it can be used wet or dry is great and very helpful.
5.The 2 precision attachments are an amazing innovation that other epilators do not offer.
I would recommend this product because it seems to be very gentle to sensitive skin and is not rough on mine.
I hope this review help you

I was expecting the name to hold up the product, huge mistake!
I purchased this unit new on ebay, after trying to get this unit from a Philips email promotion that had sold out.
Should've kept my $.
I have previously used other branded epilator with no complaint other than a rash because the teeth on it are metal.
When I unboxed this one, I was pleasantly surprised how well it looked & the accessories.
That opinion changed the 1st time I attempted to epilate my legs.
IT DID NOTHING!
When I attempted to use on my underarms, it only half worked.
I feel so let down & do not recommend it for anyone at all :-(

I was sent a free sample of this epilator for review and after having used it about a dozen times, I`m pretty happy with it. For reference, I generally use it for bikini/sensitive areas, under arms, and somewhat on my legs (more on that later). I`ve only ever used one other epilator (of a different brand) so I wasn`t sure what differences to expect. Here are my favorite features of this model:
It`s rechargeable! My other epilator would go through batteries crazy-fast (I`m pretty sure my husband was getting suspicious at the rate I was going through 36 packs of AAA batteries), so when I opened this one and saw the power cord, I was thrilled! I guess it`s not actually a power cord since it won`t turn on while plugged in, but more of a charger. Either way, it`s definitely an improvement over the non-rechargeable battery-operated models. I`ve charged it three times now and it holds a charge well. I can get two or three really solid uses out of it before I notice any reduced performance.
The light! Genius! This epilator has a light that shows you the area you`re working on. For people like me with poorly-lit bathrooms, it`s a game changer! No more working mostly by feel. So simple, yet it makes for a much better experience.
Those are the biggest reasons why this will being replacing my old epilator, but it also cleans up easily. The little brush included means business and works well. Additional, the shape and feel of this epilator is nice. It`s sturdy and fits my hand well without being bulky.
On to the most important aspect: how it works. In short, it does. It removes thicker hair (under arms, bikini, etc.) really well, even better than my old one. Unfortunately, I`ve found that it comes up short (as does my other one and most models out there I`m guessing) with really fine hair. I`ve tried both speeds, moving it slowly and faster over the hair, different angles than the recommended 90 degrees, and wet. Very limited success. I`m blonde and the hair on my legs, especially on my thighs, is nigh impossible to remove. Brand new razors leave me mostly fuzzy. In fact, the only way I can reliably have entirely smooth legs is with a cream-based hair remover, but with 3 kids, aged 2 and under, I don`t exactly have the time to be hanging out in the bathroom for the extra 10 minutes without the ability to stop mid-removal. So other than still having yeti-down-covered thighs, I`m really happy with this epilator.
Aside from its inability to grab really fine hairs, this epilator has one other minor negative. It`s loud. It sounds like someone is mowing the lawn (which, I guess, is kind of accurate, ha) right outside a closed window. This isn`t really too big of an issue, but you`re not going to be discreetly de-fuzzing unless you do it on a different floor. For me, it`s a bummer because the only time I really can groom in peace is after the kids go to bed and with this, I`m afraid I`d wake them up.
There are many other features that I can`t really comment on because I haven`t (and probably won`t) use them. They might be great, but so far most of the attachments have gone unused. It`s nice to know I have sort of an electric razor, but I`ve never used one before so I don`t think to use it now. I`m also not inclined to use this (or any full-sized epilator) on my face, although it has yet to snag any skin so it`d probably be safe.
So for the TL:DR version: It`s a pretty sweet epilator. It`s noisy but it works great (except on super-fine hair), has some awesome features, and would probably pay for itself a few times over in terms of batteries saved throughout its lifetime. So overall, if you know what to expect from it, this epilator will not disappoint! Happy de-fuzzing!
