Loved by baby and parentsAs a mom to a toddler and an exclusively breast fed 5 month old I wanted a bottle that not only would my baby take, but that wouldn't give him excess gas and I wanted something that wouldn't take me ages to clean (because chasing a 2.5yo doesn't give you much free time). Also as more and more info comes out about the dangers of plastic I wanted glass. This bottle has exceeded my expectations. The nipple is wide and my baby immediately latched very easily-win #1. Some other bottles collapse while he would eat and/or he had a hard time getting the last bit of milk out (for those of you who pump...you understand how every tiny bit of breast milk is liquid gold) we love that we have neither of those problems with this bottle. We have been very fortunate that our son doesn't have colic but he is a bit gassy and we actually think that he spits up less when he drinks from the bottle than he does from the breast. The last big win is that clean up is a breeze because there are not a million parts. The bottles get major bonus points because they are the exact size as my breast pump so I don't have to use an adaptor. One thing to note is that if you are sleep deprived and maybe bleary eyed you might not notice that the nipples have numbers on them (or maybe I'm the only one that missed that!). We accidentally were using the number 2 nipples and the bottles were going down crazy fast but once we realized they were marked it was a much better pace.
It should be noted that I received this product as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel.

I love this glass bottlesI was looking for bottles that were easy to put together, with not that many part and that would do the job, and this Avent bottles did exactly that, and they're also very cute looking, specially the 4oz ones. I prefer glass over plastic because I think is more durable and safer, but the daycare wouldn't allow me to use them there, which is very logical. I also enjoy the fact that the nipple has a "natural shape" my baby was breastfeed and the transition was very smooth. The only thing that would've make this a 5 star review is that they'll let you choose the nipple size for the bottles. For example, my baby was using a size 3 nipple but the bottle came with a size 2 so I couldn't use them and had to get some.
Another thing that I'd like to add that the Philips customer service is by far one of the best I had contacted, my first bottles arrives chipped and they replacement at no cost without questions asked.

The bottom of the bottle brokeI absolutely love the idea of using glass bottles for my daughter. After reviewing several products I chose to go with Philips Avent Natural Glass Bottles. My daughter is breastfed and only gets a bottle once a day. After about 7 uses one of the bottles I purchased broke while my parents were babysitting. The glass was sterilized in the morning using boiling water. I then let it cool enough to touch and placed the bottle with my breastmilk in the fridge. My parents were watching her for the night and when my daughter was ready to be fed, they took the bottle out of the fridge and placed it in warm water (they know not to use hot water as you do not want to overheat the milk). When they thought it was warm enough they pulled the bottle out of the water and breastmilk spilled all over the counter because the bottom of the bottle broke right off! I'm disappointed in the product as the bottle is supposed to be thermal resistant. It's not as though the bottle was placed into boiling water, it was warm.

Quality, affordable glass bottle! The Philips Avent glass bottles are excellent. They are very easy to clean & seem to be made of good quality, sturdy glass.
I will say, the price of glass bottles always discouraged me from purchasing any, but I actually did buy some myself before I even received the free ones (Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this bottle!) because these are affordable. Also, the fact that they are glass rather than plastic is very important to me. I have stopped using plastic as a drinking container for my my family after I noticed that water left in a plastic sippy cup too long tastes disgusting... obviously there is some leeching of the plastics going on.
I didn't try these on my baby since she doesn't use bottles, but my toddler had no issues with it for an occasional bottle of milk at naptime. It even survived a few falls so far.
I would absolutely recommend these to anyone looking for reasonably priced bottles - whether or not they were planning to get glass ones.

Baby who hates bottles loves this bottle!Thank you to the WeeSpring Parent Panel for sending me these bottles for review! My baby is 9mo and has hated bottles. So I was eager to try another bottle but not expecting anything. When I handed him the Phillips Avent Natural Glass bottle, he smiled! I don't pump very often but he's been taking some water in the bottles and they are sturdy enough that I don't worry when he starts playing "drop it." Part of my frustration with bottles was that there were so many pieces and I had no idea how to put them back together again. These bottles are super easy, with just a few pieces and no confusion! I wish I would have had these bottles from the beginning, I probably would have been more consistent in offering a bottle!

These bottles are very leakyI purchased these glass bottles after being satisfied with the plastic 4 oz. Avent bottles. Also, a friend mentioned she chose them to feel good about not exposing her baby to extra plastic. Already feeling bad about having to give up breastfeeding and forgetting plastic is safer these days, this logic appealed to me in my sleep-deprived, stressed out state.
To their credit, my baby managed the nipple well, these bottles are easy to clean, and after a month of continual use, they still look as good as the day they arrived.
Unfortunately, they frequently leak. I've been using them for more than a month and have yet to master finding the "sweet spot" when tightening the cap. This is particularly the case when half-asleep and/or baby is fussing in my arms. When the cap is not in just the right spot (neither too loose nor too tight), the result after shaking the bottle is often spilled formula all over the counter, floor, me, and of course, the baby, who gets messy enough without the added nuisance of these bottles.
I continue to use the small plastic bottles when we're away from home and they never leak. I really wish I hadn't bought the glass ones.

Love a glass bottle option!I love the option of having a glass bottle to use for my little one. The fact that I can heat up breastmilk and not worry about the plastic is a huge bonus. However, my little one does not latch very well on the nipple so we have a hard time getting her to eat from them. I wish that wasn't the case but we will still use them in our bottle warmer and transfer the milk afterwards. These bottles are very easy to clean and I love that I can just put them in the dishwasher! Thanks weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me these bottles!

I wanted to Love themSo I've always loved the idea of glass baby bottles for the purity of the materials. I had the chance to try these baby bottles through the Wee Spring parent panel. In short, day three, crash and glass everywhere.
I was sad because I loved them. I wanted to keep loving them. The design was nice and big, easy for little hands to use. The nipple may be my favorite part of the whole bottle. It was easy for latching for both my 3 month old and toddler. This package comes with three 8 oz bottles. They are super easy to clean. They survive boiling, microwave and the dishwasher. Well thankfully I have carpet throughout most of the apartment bc this would've ended within the first 15minutes with my toddler. Sure enough, he managed to hit the right spot on the baseboard on a corner and it shattered. I know they sell rubber protective cases for these. I wish it would've come with at least one. So I like these bottles, but really they are not practical because they can shatter, being that they are glass obviously makes them hard and so even for my little baby I don't want him to be holding it above his head for it to slip out of his hands and bonk him. I wouldn't write them off completely but definitely, do not consider these as your go-to bottles.
