Why is my Philips Avent Nipple making a strange noise?

Published on 05 August 2024
It’s normal for the valve in the nipple to make sounds while your baby is drinking. This means it is working properly and helping to remove air from your baby’s tummy!

If the sound bothers you or your baby, you can rotate the bottle so that the valve is on top while feeding, so milk doesn’t come in contact with the valve. This will reduce the sound.
