These bottles are very leakyI purchased these glass bottles after being satisfied with the plastic 4 oz. Avent bottles. Also, a friend mentioned she chose them to feel good about not exposing her baby to extra plastic. Already feeling bad about having to give up breastfeeding and forgetting plastic is safer these days, this logic appealed to me in my sleep-deprived, stressed out state.
To their credit, my baby managed the nipple well, these bottles are easy to clean, and after a month of continual use, they still look as good as the day they arrived.
Unfortunately, they frequently leak. I've been using them for more than a month and have yet to master finding the "sweet spot" when tightening the cap. This is particularly the case when half-asleep and/or baby is fussing in my arms. When the cap is not in just the right spot (neither too loose nor too tight), the result after shaking the bottle is often spilled formula all over the counter, floor, me, and of course, the baby, who gets messy enough without the added nuisance of these bottles.
I continue to use the small plastic bottles when we're away from home and they never leak. I really wish I hadn't bought the glass ones.

I love this glass bottlesI was looking for bottles that were easy to put together, with not that many part and that would do the job, and this Avent bottles did exactly that, and they're also very cute looking, specially the 4oz ones. I prefer glass over plastic because I think is more durable and safer, but the daycare wouldn't allow me to use them there, which is very logical. I also enjoy the fact that the nipple has a "natural shape" my baby was breastfeed and the transition was very smooth. The only thing that would've make this a 5 star review is that they'll let you choose the nipple size for the bottles. For example, my baby was using a size 3 nipple but the bottle came with a size 2 so I couldn't use them and had to get some.
Another thing that I'd like to add that the Philips customer service is by far one of the best I had contacted, my first bottles arrives chipped and they replacement at no cost without questions asked.

Beware! These LEAK!Over the past couple of months we have had several incidents where these bottles have leaked. This just started happening more recently and I'm not sure what has changed. We know how to assemble it! The concept of using glass was appealing and these bottles are very durable, but the CON of it leaking greatly outweighs any PROs. Last night I was feeding my daughter before bed and she got completely soaked. She was already sleepy but since she got soaked I had to change her and then it took forever to get her to sleep. We will not be using these bottles anymore.

I wanted to Love themSo I've always loved the idea of glass baby bottles for the purity of the materials. I had the chance to try these baby bottles through the Wee Spring parent panel. In short, day three, crash and glass everywhere.
I was sad because I loved them. I wanted to keep loving them. The design was nice and big, easy for little hands to use. The nipple may be my favorite part of the whole bottle. It was easy for latching for both my 3 month old and toddler. This package comes with three 8 oz bottles. They are super easy to clean. They survive boiling, microwave and the dishwasher. Well thankfully I have carpet throughout most of the apartment bc this would've ended within the first 15minutes with my toddler. Sure enough, he managed to hit the right spot on the baseboard on a corner and it shattered. I know they sell rubber protective cases for these. I wish it would've come with at least one. So I like these bottles, but really they are not practical because they can shatter, being that they are glass obviously makes them hard and so even for my little baby I don't want him to be holding it above his head for it to slip out of his hands and bonk him. I wouldn't write them off completely but definitely, do not consider these as your go-to bottles.

Excellent bottles!I am a big fan of these bottles! I decided to use glass instead of plastic because even though it might be BPA free, there are still other chemicals present that I don't want to put into my baby. The Avent glass bottles are reasonably priced and the nipples mimic the breast shape so I chose them when my baby came home from NICU at two weeks old (preemie adjusted age of negative one month old). My baby had to be fed with bottles in the NICU but I still wanted a chance to supplement formula with breastmilk and I was concerned that he would not switch readily between bottle nipples and the breast, but the Avent nipples are close enough that he wasn't too confused and will latch on to the breast too. We started with the 4 oz bottles and have recently switched to using the 8 oz. bottles. The 8 oz are comfortable to hold with the indentions in the glass and they balance nicely in your hand. I found the size 2 nipples flow a little too quickly for my 3 month old (adjusted age of 7 weeks) so I still use the size 1 nipples.
These bottles are very easy to clean all parts (a huge plus because you clean bottles constantly!) and they fit in the average bottle warmer easily. I have been using the Avent bottles for three months now and the measurements on the side have not worn off or faded at all, the bottles have not scratched and they still look new. I am very impressed with how well they have held up and will continue using them and buying more as we grow.
Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me these bottles!

I wanted to like these...Very sad to see there is no warranty on bottles. I ordered these glass bottles a week ago and have had 2 break in the glass warmer... they are NOT heat/shockproof! The milk wasn't even coming from the refrigerator!
Why do they not offer warranty on glass bottles? Because they are a poor product.
Back to the drawing board!

Great product but a bit heavyThese bottles are a great alternative to the plastic version. Baby can latch on easily to the nipple and still enjoys the time we spend during feedings. The glass bottles are easy to clean and do not allow the formula to stick to the sides. I received these bottles as part of the WeeSpring Parent Panel, and have found myself picking these up to use first then the plastic ones we originally bought. I think it’s because I find them heavy when the milk is added, and first thing in the morning my son like to just sit back and eat whereas later in the day he likes to try to hold his own bottles. If you were to buy glass bottles I would buy the smaller size (4oz) ones then use plastic for the larger sizes since they are made lighter. These bottles are very durable. I have knocked one over accidentally and it didn’t crack or break. Only other downside is that sometimes the top can get stuck to the bottle. So when you are trying to take the top off it feels like your trying to pry open a jar that is brand new. Overall very minor things to be concerned about when the product is made well and works as intended.

Great glass alternative to plastic bottlesWith my first child, I kind of went with whatever bottles people gave me at my shower, not knowing any different and not thinking much of glass vs plastic. Now, with my second, I love the idea that there is a reliable alternative to heating up milk in plastic, something that always bothered me with my first.
I love the fact that these are shock resistant and heat resistant. Never had a problem with them breaking and even dropped them a time or two and had no issues. I also love the nipple flow of these. The slow flow comes out in a couple streams like milk straight from the breast so it's simple to switch between bottle and breast. There are no leaks on mine but sometimes in the middle of the night you can screw on the lid crooked and if that happens, of course it will be messy. But once on correctly, I never had that happen. I also love that they are simple to clean - throw them in the dishwasher and they are good to go!
All in all, a great choice for those mamas who are concerned about plastics around their child.
